My name is Roman Sheydvasser. I was born in Siberia. I moved to New York City when I was 8 years old. I spent most of my life in NYC.
I studied tech and other stuff at Stuyvesant High School and Stony Brook University.
Notable career experience:
- Charter Technology Solutions, which I helped build with Sachin Gujral. I did a lot of computer support, network management, product research, interviews, VoIP, wifi, cloud and local storage, MS server, MS exchange, documentation, and more that I’m forgetting.
- Datadog, where I answered customer tickets, helped build an Operations team, worked as a software engineer, built scripts and tools, managed Zendesk, and wrote lots of documentation.
- Financial firm internship, where I learned a little bit about trading options and more about writing Excel macros.
- Lots of other general IT gigs where I did computer support.
